Summary

As the North American Regional Business Director of the TempRite Engineered Polymers business, you will be accountable for delivering sustainable growth within Lubrizol s North American chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) business and play a key role in the Global CPVC leadership team. This exciting and growing business is made of up innovative and passionate individuals in functions such as sales, demand creation, and marketing communications.

In this role, you will create and implement strategies to grow the business through unique marketing, product, and service innovations, and by strengthening our relationships with key customers and strategic partners. You will lead the creation and execution of a regional business plan to deliver consistent income growth, while providing professional development to your team.


Essential Functions:

  • Create and implement the overall business strategy to maintain and grow Lubrizol s CPVC market position as an industry leader.
  • Manage the income statement for the business and deliver on sales and income growth expectations.
  • Lead, manage and develop the North American team, fostering open communication, teamwork, innovation, and strategic alignment while instilling a culture of empowerment, while focusing on urgency and accountability for financial results.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional support staff to ensure execution of business strategy and ongoing business activities.
  • Establish strong relationships with industry experts and customers, proactively supporting the commercial team in identifying new opportunities and expanding our value proposition and market influence.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that will advance Lubrizol s competitive position in adjacent marketspaces.
  • Champion continuous improvement and organizational DE&I efforts, while facilitating a positive team culture that celebrates individual diversity.
  • Travel opportunities to customer sites to strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven broad cross-functional experience in the areas of business management, strategic marketing, sales management, and/or product management in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated people management experience including successful employee management and development experience.
  • Bachelor s Degree or higher in science, business, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success in building positive relationships across multiple functions and geographic regions.
  • Experienced in negotiating with senior level commercial and technical decision makers.

Considered a Plus

  • Preference for experience in plastics and/or pipe and fittings.
  • Preference for experience in leading organizational change with a track record of driving sustainable business growth.
