As Medical Polymers Marketing Manager you will have the responsibility to lead the Product, Pricing, Placement, Promotion responsibilities within the dynamic Medical Polymers business segment and ensure alignment to our Global Market Strategy.
In this role you will be responsible for analyzing, defining and implementing the marketing and business development strategy for the Medical Polymers business segment and sub segments.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize Medical Polymers value-based pricing strategy.
    Recommend and implement changes to global pricing structures and lead pricing actions globally.
    Review new pricing requests to ensure alignment and accuracy and create tools to review efficiency.
  • Improve market and applications end use structure and manage end use realignment and reassignment process.
  • Lead the commercial strategy of innovation projects to understand market potential, create unique value propositions, and support new product introductions/sampling process
  • Optimize customer segmentation strategy and identify proper channels to service start-ups and transactional customer in conjunction with e-commerce initiative
  • Analyze market research to identify unmet needs, industry trends, competitive positions, SWOT analysis, global market dynamics, and market risks.
    Improve our understanding of competitive landscape and competitors strategic moves.
  • Work with Marketing Communications to align market strategy initiatives into marketing campaign.
  • Support the development of Medical Polymers TPU market strategy to align key competencies with strategic initiatives to achieve 5 -year trajectory.

Experience/Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or engineering.
  • 5
    years professional experience in Marketing, Finance, Operations, Product/Project Management, Technical Marketing, or Sales.
  • Proficiency in data analysis with ability to evaluate large sets of data and make recommendations on pricing or process and effectively implement across the business.
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, Power BI, Oracle, Dynamics CRM, or other ERP/CRM systems.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical industries, or B2B specialty chemical markets.
  • Background in developing and executing marketing strategy.
  • Ability to develop market insights for business segment and translate them into definable business opportunities
  • Travel 20-30%, domestic.
