Technical Sales Manager

The Technical Sales Manager I aligns sales actions to deliver customer value, achieve sales targets and deliver operational profitability. Managing existing account relationships, developing new accounts, and cross selling are core responsibilities of the role. Success is achieved by listening to and effectively defining the customer's needs, engaging with the internal value stream team members, and delivering technical solutions that meet customer specifications. Assist in the development and delivery of sales forecasts, profit plans, and short and long-term forecasts. Offer technical consultation to ensure proper documentation of customer expectations. Manage technical project development from beginning to end, including defining the scope, design, execution and optimization of customer processes. Establish and document project schedules and delivery dates; maintain schedules and follow up on commitments; keep stakeholders informed throughout the project. Collaborate with identified value stream team members to ensure projects align with customer specifications and delivery expectations. Develop new customer relationships to support the company's growth strategy. Work with existing customers to identify new or custom products to satisfy specific requirements; collects data and feedback and provides technical training. Makes safety a priority for self and others, develops new process to deliver quality products, and applies the Barnes Enterprise System (BES) for business excellence, empowerment and growth. Travel to customer sites as required. Attend and actively participate in industry associations. Other related duties and projects as assigned. Required Skills Experience working directly with customers to define their needs, identify solutions, and proactively identify potential design and functionality issues. Strong Technical/Engineering Background Demonstrated experience leading new product introduction and product/process improvement, ability to applylean principles in a manufacturing environment. Successfully executed and designed complex projects. Strong understanding of standard engineering practices. Strong organizational skills. Capable of working with limited supervision and demonstrate high level of initiative. Strong analytical skills and aptitude for detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills; high engagement and a dynamic personality. Production-focused, hands-on problem solver. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and prioritize time aligned with business goals. Must be able to work effectively with others in a team environment, and work independently with limited supervision. Remain informed about competing technologies, market trends and new business opportunities by mining customer databases, developing professional networks and participating in industry organizations. Design software skills, including experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD. Strong computer skills including MS-Office, CAD, SolidWorks, and ERP experiencepreferred. Spanish language fluency a plus. Required Experience Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred, or equivalent work experience. 5 - 10 years engineering and/or sales related experience; 3 - 5 years in a project management role, preferred.
Salary Range: $85K

5 - 7 years

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
