Read the cover story in Smart Business Magazine to learn how Lubrizol plans to advance its growth.   Lubrizol Advanced Materials is seeking an Account Manager to serve its TempRite Engineered Polymers business segment. This Key Account Manager will be responsible for representing our product offering with strategic customers in North America, focusing on maintaining existing business, new business development, coordinating technical service and analytical activities, strengthening relationships with current customers and prospecting for new business opportunities.   What you will do: Manage the direct sales and market development activities to promote growth of the business for assigned accounts and territories. Manage the sales process from prospecting to closing. Foster and grow the appropriate business relationships both internally and externally.  Develop sales plans for designated accounts in support of GBU deliverables. Effectively communicate with internal R&D, Marketing, and Operations group on customer specific needs. Develop, negotiate and close sales contracts and agreements in collaboration with respective business managers. Create and implement account plans that are well aligned with the business strategy. Comply with administrative requirements (call reports, forecasting, expense reports, etc.). Represent Lubrizol at trade shows, conferences, and at local industry association events in support of Business Manager goals and objectives. Engage closely with the business to identify and evaluate new, high value opportunities. Manage external indirect relationships as necessary in support of GBU goals Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing applications, identify and support the launch of new products.     What you need: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of successful B2B selling experience, in the specialty chemicals business.  Strong knowledge of raw materials sales and experience in manufacturing environments. Willing and able to travel 50% of the time. Tactical and strategic thinking and business acumen skills. Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results. Demonstrated successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
