Network Contract Specialist

Job Description Summary: Responsible for the oversight of recruiting, developing and maintaining relationships with hospital systems and other healthcare providernetworks from acontracting perspective. Oversee the negotiation, preparation,financial analysis, business review, and implementation of home health care service providers in Clinical Specialties' services area. Work with currentnetwork agencies to maintain the relationship and provide opportunities for growth. Closely collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent management of proposals andcontracts. Assist in day to day issues that may arise. Job Description: Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Responsible for preparing financial analysis, negotiating, and implementing agreements with quality home health care services providers in Clinical Specialties' current and expanding service area Oversee contract development, management, and growth of key accounts within the assigned territory. Develop standards for contracts, including budget, terms, and language as well as clinical support for contract development. Interface with necessary departments and individuals to ensure adequacy of coverage and needs Serve as the primary contact to develop and execute negotiation of contracts and to maximize the benefit for the company. Develop relationships with key contract players in healthcare networks Present to higher level management meetings and speak to contract and service issues independently Coordinates agreements with appropriate internal customers to insure claims billing systems are set up correctly, and communication of contract specifics are distributed for instruction and reference Informs upper management of contractrisks for home health care services contracts. Recommends course of action to reduce/minimize risk to the organization.  Identifies, and assesses impact of potential changes in the industry or changes related to new state or federal legislation Assists in identification and resolution of day to day issues that arise with contracted home health service providers Maintains successful working relationships with internal departments such as Operations, Legal, Sales, and any other departments that are involved with or impacted by home health provider contracts Supervisory Responsibilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? (i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) No Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in related work experience including 5 or more years in a healthcare management related field. Experience with client relationship management or contract negotiation. Experience with conducting financial analysis focusing on troubleshooting. Basic Qualifications A highly motivated, self-directed individual with excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills. Superior presentation skills, displaying confidence and knowledge in Clinical Specialties services in daily interactions with the medical community.  Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services. Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates. Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling). Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: applying a theme, formatting character spacing, inserting a picture, changing slide layout and theme colors, adding transitions, customizing slide numbers, changing chart style and/or formatting font). Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
