Quoting Specialist

ARISE Incorporated is a national company with its main office located in Brecksville, OH, just south of Cleveland. ARISE Incorporated provides clients with comprehensive unbundled jurisdictional and shop inspection services for boilers and pressure vessels. We have state certified inspectors, located throughout the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. ARISE services a variety of clients including many Fortune 500 companies.

ARISE is currently looking for a full time Quoting Specialist working in the Brecksville, Ohio office. The position of Quoting Specialist is a part of the ARISE Inc. business unit, whose mission is to supply superior service to our client base with Jurisdictional Inspection Services.

Major Areas of Responsibility

The Quoting Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Formulating all quotes for ARISE jurisdictional services in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Developing quotes for new business channels, using stored historical data when available.
  • Developing renewal quotes for existing business.
  • Serve as a back-up for other members of the quoting unit.

Primary Objectives

The primary objectives of Quoting Specialist:

  • Conform to uniform pricing policy.
  • Funneling pertinent data to the ARISE Account Manager for review.
  • Appropriately prioritize incoming new, renewal and additional business quotes.
  • Timely communication.

Technical Knowledge

Computer literacy - Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Competencies

Functional/Technical skills, client focus, written and verbal communication, problem solving, data analysis, accuracy, math, technical learning, and time management.

The ideal candidate will have a loss control/insurance background. Compensation will be based upon experience and training.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
