Job Description:
Responsibilities Ensure compliance with safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.
Conduct pharmaceutical operations for dermal, oral care and oral applications (weighing, dispersion, mixing, milling, screening, compression, etc).
Analyze and test ingredients and dosage forms in accordance to standard methods (viscosity, pH, UV-VIS, hydration/swelling, dissolution, mechanical properties, stability, etc).
Clean, maintain and operate various laboratory equipment.
Organize laboratory work to meet multiple assignment objectives.
Run tests and report results in labbooks and Microsoft Office files.
Ensure the safe, timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Job Requirements:
Requirements Bachelor degree in Biomedical, Chemistry, Biology or related sciences.
Minimum one year of laboratory experience.
Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and assist where needed, handle multiple priorities and projects.
Ability to understand and follow laboratory procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; good observation and accurate documentation skills.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
Use of appropriate engineering controls, personal protective equipment and adherence to lab safety practices.
Physical requirements:
frequent lifting 15 - 20 lbs (max lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance), repetitive motion, standing and bending, fine manipulation of arms/fingers, respirator use.
