Key Account Manager-Bent Wire

Specific Responsibilities:
Working together with the VP of Sales in executing the company's revenue and profitability strategy through the support of selling engineered fastening solutions to both current and company Key Accounts
Manage the sales cycle from design through to the issuance of either discrete purchase orders or the implementation of long term supply contracts.
Management of the services provided and the relationship with both Key Account contacts and internal contacts to ensure we deliver on the promise of "Delivering Exceptional Customer Care"
Support and manage all potential sales service models at our Key Accounts which include but are not limited to discrete purchase orders, stock and release and consignment programs.
Work with the VP of Sales to develop and execute a pricing policy that will support the company's direct margin goals
Grow sales through a multitude of approaches including Share of Wallet Increase, Cross Selling and new Key Account acquisition
Develop and maintain a strong selling team orientation across all companies, divisions and Key Accounts served
Strict adherence to country laws and local market laws and practices up to and including employee laws and regulations
Work with all levels of functions within both our customers and internal company. In essence have the ability to communicate effectively to employees on the production line through to C-level executives
Maintain and keep updated a book of Key Account Plans. These plans, along with listing important information about the account, highlight the strategies to be deployed to grow sales and strengthen the relationship with the customer. Find and eliminate the customers "Pain Points"
Educational Requirements: 4-year technical or business degree, MBA preferred. Employees with long term relevant industry experience will also be given equal consideration
Language: Fluent and well-spoken with excellent writing skills in English, multilingual preferred
10+ years selling of bent wire forming through all techniques, steel grades and the markets consuming our product line.
Proven sales techniques that will grow the base of business successfully and profitably
A proven track record of growing sales and customer/business development
Excellent computer systems skills which include:
MS-Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
ERP and CRM module preferred
High levels of initiative and curiosity, High passion, energy, drive, and intelligence, Strong sense of urgency

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
